Project-Event: 11 November, Monday at 4:30* PM until November 24 4:30* PM.
Problem-Solving Event: 25 November, Monday at 4:30* PM until 26 November, at Midnight.
Please note that all time is based on GMT + 3 Timezone.
Our competition is open to any and all languages, whether its Python, Java, C++ or another Language, the only thing that matters is the code itself & the output.
What you should expect
Structure
You should expect 5-7 programming problems varying in difficulty, As well as a prompt you must follow to build a project that exhibits the prompt, Note that you can choose between solving the problems only, doing the project, or doing both
Problems
5-7 problems which vary in difficulty, previous basic programming experience is recommended, the goal of this is to make a plausible solution while also achieving the fastest time to solve.
Project
A prompt will be given to you, whether it is make a program which solves a problem or instead exhibits the prompt, converting it into a working project, The project isn't a race against time, but rather something you are supposed to take your time on, crafting a quality project.
System & Rewards
Our system for Winners is simple. For the regular programming problems we are going to be rating off of efficiency as well as speed taken to solve the total amount of problems (We will track this through a leaderboard available in our website), For the project, after each Project is submitted, members of Vagabond will be rating it from 1-10 in multiple different categories and criteria. The winner of each competition will be awarded 130 USD, whereas if the same person wins both the Problems Problems & the Project they will be rewarded with 300 USD.
